I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
From the sign-in page, click Forgot password? and enter the email you signed up with. You’ll get a reset link in your inbox (check spam if it doesn’t arrive in a couple of minutes).
Can I use my own domain (e.g. menu.myrestaurant.com)?
Yes — Pro and Agency plans support custom domains. Add one in your dashboard Account & billing → Custom domain. We provision the SSL certificate automatically through Vercel.
How do diners scan my QR code?
Every modern phone camera reads QR codes natively (iOS 11+ and Android 9+). Download your QR from the dashboard, print it on a table tent, and diners point their camera at it. No app install required.
Do I have to be a Costa Rica restaurant?
Not at all. Today we’re focused on Costa Rica and the copy on the site is bilingual ES/EN with French support. We’re expanding to LATAM (pt-BR, es-MX) next. If you’re outside these languages and want to be an early customer, write us at support@platillo.app.
Will I lose my menu if I downgrade?
No — your menu content stays. Paid features (custom domain, photos, multilingual, analytics) become read-only or disabled until you upgrade again, but the underlying data is intact.
How do I export my menu?
We’re building self-serve export. Until then, email support@platillo.app from the account address and we’ll send you a JSON dump.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@platillo.app from the account address. We’ll delete your tenant data within 30 days. Self-serve deletion is on the roadmap.
Is my data safe?
Yes. The database has row-level security on every tenant table: another tenant’s admin can’t read or modify your menu under any circumstance. Payments are handled by Stripe (we never see card numbers). Daily backups run on the Supabase side. See privacy policy for details.
